Miami Wedding....Christine & Devin
I had to dedicate a post just for their wedding.
Our friends got married and we couldn't be happier to be part of their bridal party just as they were part of ours 2 yrs ago. I flew down to Miami from Texas at 32 weeks pregnant and everyone thought I was nuts for doing that so late into my pregnancy. The news is that my doctor gave me the Ok to fly and I told my friend Christy that I would only go for as long as my Dr. was ok with it. I wasn't willing to risk my health or the babies health. To be honest, I was not very excited about flying or even going to a wedding period because I was feeling very heavy, swollen, and not pretty, but I had to! it was our friends happiest day and I couldn't miss it for anything in the world and I am glad I didn't.
It was nice to see her get ready from beginning to end. It is that day that every girl feels like a princess and gets to dress up like one and enjoy the day as it will never end. It is a magical moment that we dream about since we are little girls, and she was lucky to see her dream come true.
Her wedding gown was just stunning
I took my old camera and took as many pictures as I could. It was amazing to see her walk down the isle to her sweetheart and be part of such a beautiful celebration. All details were gorgeous and the color palette she chose was divine...see it yourself.
The reception was held at the Schnebly Winery in Homestead, FL
at night it looked even more beautiful and very romantic with all the candle lights on the tables and the lights on the roof
The pictures where I come out where taken by our friend Dalila who is very talented and can take wonderful pictures.

Taylor Blake
photo shoot of Taylor Blake. As we were getting ready to shoot, I spotted these adorable cowboy boots in his room and asked Nicole if we can take pictures with those. To my surprise these boots belonged to his dad and were now being passed on to Taylor Blake. What a better prop ? These are some of the 100 pics or so I took.
Taking pictures of toddlers is always a challenge as you can not ask them to pose or do anything besides just following them around while they play and you have to ensure that they are captured in action. I really enjoy this though, because I know their parents will cherish these shots of REAL LIFE MOMENTS.

We brought Marley over to be part of the pictures (Mar-mar as he calls her).
Are these toes adorable?
We removed his shoes and he did not want to walk on the grass...I guess it made him feel weird, mom says he never walks bearfooted.

Superbowl sunday 2010
Sunday was a very busy day for us... It began at 8:00 am when Gianmarco woke me up moving softly inside my belly. I could feel that he was as hungry as mommy, he was definetely asking for some French Toast! So I decided to reach over to my left side of the bed, finding the most amazing person in my life...Daddy to be, I shared my hunger needs and he agreed with us immediately. There were no second thoughts, we then got ready for a delicious breakfatst at Dennys... Following breakfast, we went to Lowes looking for tools that we need to finish up the baby's room. Our office is being transformed into Gianmarco's nursery, which presents a challenge to us as first time parents. We are not sure about the colors yet...it was a fun trip to the store, then when to home to get ready for the Superbowl.
As we got ready and rushing out of the house, I made sure I took my camera with me. I wanted to snap some shots of the kids while they were playing the day away. The adults were busy having fun playing dominoes, enjoying cocktails, and munching on appetizers. My goal as a photographer is to capture real life moments...and here are the results:
